Care after installation
Care for your network, cameras, and doors, without a full IT plan.
Not every business needs us for its computers. If we installed your network, cameras, or doors, or you already own UniFi gear, we keep it updated, watch its health, and handle badges and footage requests.
The problem, and what we do about it
Installed systems still need looking after. Firmware updates, a camera that stops recording, a recorder that fills up, a new employee who needs a badge, a clip someone needs by Friday.
Care for installed systems covers that without the per person monthly plan. It is health monitoring, which means we get an alert when a device goes offline or recording stops, and we fix it during business hours. It is not live video watching, alarm monitoring, or emergency dispatch.
Who it's for
Honest on purpose, so nobody wastes a call.
A good fit
- Businesses where we installed cameras, doors, or a network
- Owners of UniFi systems nobody is looking after
- Shops and offices that handle their own computers
Not a fit
- Live video watching, central station alarm monitoring, or police and fire dispatch
- Camera and door brands other than UniFi, which we look at case by case
What you get
Written down so there are no surprises on the quote.
What's included
- Health alerts, such as a camera offline or recording stopped, handled during business hours
- Firmware and software updates on a schedule
- Footage retention settings kept as agreed
- Badges and users added and removed on request
- Clips pulled when you ask
- Warranty claims coordinated with the manufacturer
- System documentation and handover notes kept current
What it's not
- Live monitoring of video, or alarm response
- Replacement hardware and physical repairs, quoted separately
- Staff computers and Microsoft 365, which are in the monthly care plan

Camera and door care are published prices. Network-only care depends on the equipment, so we quote it after a site review.
What it depends on
- Remote access to the system's management console
- A working internet connection at the site for health alerts
- Equipment the manufacturer still supports

Questions owners ask
Will you call the police if a camera sees something?
No. Care covers the health of the system, not watching video. For live monitoring or dispatch you need a monitored alarm or video monitoring company.
Can we stop care and keep the system?
Yes, with 30 days notice. The equipment is yours and keeps working. We hand over all admin access and documentation.
What about warranty problems?
Manufacturer warranties pass to you at install. On care we handle the claim with the manufacturer for you.
Do you look after systems someone else installed?
Yes, if it is UniFi and the manufacturer still supports it. We look first and tell you what needs fixing before care starts.
