Who we are
Vektrion LLC ("Vektrion," "we," or "us") provides IT and security services to small businesses. This policy explains what we collect through vektrion.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we receive the details you type in, which are your name, email address, mobile number if you give it, business name, number of people, the help you're looking for, and any message you add.
The self-check questions on our contact page run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you then submit the contact form, in which case your score and the questions you answered no to are included.
Like most websites, we also collect basic usage information through cookies and analytics, such as pages visited, time on the site, browser type, and the site that referred you.
How we use it
- To reply to you and schedule a call
- To prepare for that call so we don't waste your time
- To understand how the website is used and improve it
Services we use
Contact form. Form submissions go through a form handler we run ourselves and arrive as an email to us. They are not passed to an outside form company.
Email reports and follow ups. When you ask for a free email security check, cyber insurance readiness check, or IT checkup result, we send it through Resend, an email delivery service, and may send a short series of follow up emails over the next three weeks. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. Resend sees your email address and the message it delivers.
Referral links. If you arrive through a referral link, the short code in the address is kept with your inquiry so we can thank the person who sent you. It is not used for anything else.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site. Google collects usage data such as pages viewed, visit length, and general location. Google's own privacy policy covers how they handle it. It does not load for browsers that send the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Online scheduling. If you book a call through our online calendar, the scheduling provider collects the details you enter there, and their privacy policy applies to that information.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. They don't contain your name or contact details. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and related emails as long as needed to respond to you, keep normal business records, and meet legal requirements. Google Analytics data is kept according to Google's standard settings. Our own site analytics, described below, are deleted after about 13 months.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, and only to run this website and respond to you.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect what you send us. No method of sending or storing data online is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the information you've sent us at any time by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Vektrion is a small Georgia company that is not covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act or the European General Data Protection Regulation, but we honor the same kinds of requests from anyone, wherever they are.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date at the top.

Site analytics
This site runs its own analytics on its own server. It sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifier in your browser. Each visit is counted with a code made from a daily rotating random value, your IP address, and your browser type, which cannot be reversed and changes every day. Your IP address is never stored. We record the pages viewed, the referring site, the device type and screen size, the country and, when available, the city, what was clicked, how far pages were scrolled, page speed measurements, and errors. Contact form answers are stored only when you send the form. Self-check answers are stored as yes or no counts without your name unless you send the form afterward. We honor the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by not collecting analytics at all, not even a page view, and Google Analytics does not load for those browsers either. Raw analytics data is kept for about 13 months. Nothing is shared with or sold to anyone. Google Analytics is also used in the standard way for aggregate traffic reporting. Questions go to [email protected].
