Web apps and dashboards
Internal tools and dashboards built around how your business works.
When a spreadsheet and three apps are holding the business together, a small custom tool can replace the mess. We build web apps that run in any browser and on any phone, for the job your off the shelf software does badly.
The problem, and what we do about it
Every business ends up with a process that no product quite fits. Quotes built in a spreadsheet and pasted into email. Job status tracked on a whiteboard. Customers calling to ask where their order is. Off the shelf software either does too much, costs too much per person, or does not do the one thing you need.
This is web application development sized for a small business. We build small, focused web apps for that job. A quote builder, a job tracker, a client portal, an order status page, or a dashboard that pulls your numbers together. It runs in a browser on any computer or phone, signs people in with two-step login, and is hosted and backed up for you. Before anything is built, we check whether an existing product or an automation would do the job for less.
Who it's for
Honest on purpose, so nobody wastes a call.
A good fit
- Businesses running a core process on spreadsheets and email
- Owners who want customers to check status or approve quotes online
- Teams that need one screen showing the numbers from several tools
Not a fit
- Large software products with many teams and long roadmaps
- Ideas that have not been tested with a single customer yet. A landing page or a quick workflow is a better first step
What you get
Written down so there are no surprises on the quote.
What's included
- A short discovery session and a written list of screens and features
- A fixed price for the first version, with what is in and out spelled out
- Sign in with two-step login, and access limited by role
- Works in a browser on computers and phones
- Hosting, backups, and updates while you keep it with us
- Connections to the tools you already use, where they allow it

What it's not

What it depends on
- Someone who knows the process and can answer questions each week
- Access to the tools it connects to, approved by the owner
- Agreement on a small first version before anything bigger
Scheduling
A focused first version usually takes six to twelve weeks from the approved feature list.

How it works
Simple on purpose. You always know what's next and what it costs.
A 15-minute call
What the site or tool needs to do, who uses it, and what you have today.
A written scope and fixed price
Pages or screens, features, who writes the words, launch date, and the price. The price does not move.
Design and build
You see the work as it comes together and approve each step before we move on.
Launch and handover
Domain, forms, and search settings checked on launch day. You own the domain, the content, and the code. Hosting and care are optional.
Questions owners ask
Do you build mobile apps?
Yes, when an app in the stores is really what the business needs, for example when customers use it often. It is quoted after a short review. For many businesses a web app that works well on a phone is the faster and cheaper first step, and it can become a store app later.
Why start with a small first version?
Because the most expensive features are the ones nobody uses. A first version that does the main job well gets into real hands sooner, and the next version is built from what people actually do.
Who owns the code?
Your business does, along with the data. If you ever move it, we hand over the code and help with the move.
What does hosting cost after launch?
It depends on what the app uses, and it is listed on the quote before you sign. Small internal tools usually cost little to run.
What does it cost?
A first version of a web app or dashboard starts from $6,000. A connection between two tools without its own screens is a custom integration, from $3,000. Mobile apps are quoted after a short review.
