Annual security review
A once-a-year check, without a monthly plan.
Your project is done and things are running. Once a year we come back, check that accounts, backups, and the network are still the way they should be, and give you a short list of what to do next.
The problem, and what we do about it
Things drift. People leave and their accounts stay on. A backup stops after an update. A firewall rule gets opened for a vendor and never closed. A domain renewal goes to an inbox nobody reads.
The annual review is a set, limited check for businesses that don't need us every month. We check the same list every year, compare it to last time, and hand you a prioritized action list. You decide what to fix, and fixes are quoted separately.
Who it's for
Honest on purpose, so nobody wastes a call.
A good fit
- Businesses that had a project done with us and don't need monthly care
- Offices that want a yearly record for their insurer or a customer
- Owners who handle day to day IT themselves
Not a fit
- Businesses on the monthly care plan, where the yearly planning review covers this
- Anyone needing a formal audit, a penetration test, or a certification
What you get
Written down so there are no surprises on the quote.
What's included
- User and admin accounts, including former staff and shared logins
- Two-step login coverage on email and admin accounts
- Backup status and the date of the last test restore
- Network and Wi-Fi settings, firmware, and guest network separation
- Changes since last year, like new staff, software, or equipment
- Account ownership and renewal dates for the domain, licenses, and equipment
- Windows and Office versions checked against their support dates
- A prioritized action list with a price next to each fix
What it's not
- Fixing what the review finds, which is quoted separately
- Penetration testing, a formal audit, or a certification
- Help between reviews, which is $150 an hour, quoted first

What it costs
New services are quoted after a short review, so the price fits your setup instead of a guess. You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts.
| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Annual security review | Quoted after a short review |
| Fixes from the action list | Published prices, or a fixed price in writing |
| Help between reviews | $150 an hour, quoted first |
See the price for this on the pricing page
The scope is fixed and written on the quote, so the price does not grow during the review.
What it depends on
- Admin access to the systems in scope, approved by the owner
- Systems we did not set up may take longer to review, which the quote reflects
Next step
Book a 15-minute call and tell us which project we did and roughly how many people you have.
How it works
Simple on purpose. You always know what's next and what it costs.
A 15-minute call
Tell us what's going on. We'll tell you honestly if we're a fit.
A quick look
A short visit or a remote session so we see your setup for real.
A fixed price in writing
What we'll do, what it costs, and when. The price doesn't move.
Scheduled work
We book a time that doesn't shut your business down, then get it done. Reply times and support hours are on the service levels page.
Questions owners ask
How is this different from the $350 office checkup?
The checkup is a first look at a business we don't know yet. The annual review is for a setup we already know, and it repeats the same checks each year so you can see what changed.
Is it a contract?
No. You book it when you want it, usually once a year.
Can a business that never worked with us book it?
Start with the $350 office checkup instead. It covers similar ground for a setup we haven't seen before.
What does it cost?
It depends on the number of people, devices, and sites, so we quote it after a short review. The price is fixed in writing before we start.
