What workflow automation costs a small business
Two costs, the build and the platform, plus upkeep when a vendor changes something. Here are the 2026 ranges and our published prices next to them.
The two costs
An automation has a build cost, paid once to whoever sets it up, and a platform cost, paid every month to the tool it runs on. A third cost shows up later, upkeep when a connected app changes and something stops working.

The Microsoft detail catches people. One premium connector in a flow means every person who runs it needs a Premium license.
Ask who owns it
If the builder's own account runs your automations, leaving them can mean rebuilding everything. Some platforms only allow ownership transfer on team plans, and connection addresses can change when they move. The safe default is every account in your business's name from the start.

Are platform fees included?
No. Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate subscriptions are in your business's name at the provider's price, listed as separate lines on the quote.

With the automation checkup, $450, one hour on site or remote. You get the first three builds priced, and the fee is credited in full toward automation work you book with us within 30 days.
