Free talks for business groups

A free talk for your members on the scams that cost small businesses money.

Forty-five minutes for a chamber, an association, a networking group, or a church or school network, in person in metro Atlanta or online. Real examples, the payment callback rule, and a handout members can take back to the office. No sales pitch from the front of the room.

What the talk covers

The working title is "The email that empties a business account, and the rule that stops it". It walks through the scams small offices report most.

In the talk
Fake invoices and changed bank details from a supplier or client
Fake login pages for email, banks, and insurance portals
Gift card requests from a lookalike address for the owner or the pastor
The payment callback rule, and how a five person office puts it in place in a week
What to do in the first ten minutes after a bad click
A one page handout for every member
Not in the talk
A sales pitch
A product demo
A list of members passed to anyone

Who it is for

Chambers of commerce, small business development centers, referral and networking groups, business and trade associations, church and daycare networks, and dental or CPA study clubs. Breakfast, lunch, or evening meeting, in person across metro Atlanta or online anywhere.

Private sessions for a group's own staff

A talk for members is free. Training for the staff of one office, with a dated record and certificates, is our security awareness training, $350 at the office or $200 live online.

Questions owners ask

Does the talk cost the group anything?

No. The talk, the handout, and travel inside metro Atlanta are free. Groups farther out get the same talk live online.

Do you sell to the members?

No pitch from the front of the room. Members leave with a handout and the free email security check. A sign-up sheet asks before anyone hears from us again.

Can an insurance agent co-host?

Yes. The talk stays free for everyone, and no referral fee changes hands in either direction.

When can you give it?

Weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm, which covers breakfast and lunch meetings, and evening meetings until 8 pm on request. Saturday events on request.

Can a group book a private session for its own staff?

Yes. A private session for an association office or an owner with several locations is priced like any training session, $350 on site or $200 online per group, with travel inside metro Atlanta included.
