What IT support costs a small business in Georgia
Almost nobody publishes this, so here are the ranges the industry quotes in 2026, what moves them, and our own prices next to them for comparison.
The monthly per person model
Most managed IT providers charge per person per month. Published guides in 2026 put the range at roughly $95 to $295 per user per month, with most small offices landing between $125 and $200 (sources include esudo.com and gocorptech.com, read October 2026). A few Atlanta firms quote law offices at $125 to $250. The number depends on what is included, so the next section matters more than the headline rate.
What should be included at that price
- Remote help during stated hours, as often as needed.
- Updates and security software on every computer, watched from one place.
- Microsoft 365 administration, password resets, and lockouts.
- New hire setup and same day shutoff when someone leaves.
- Backups checked on a schedule, with a test restore you can see the date of.
- The network kept updated and watched.
- On-site visits when something cannot be fixed remotely.
- Help with the cyber insurance renewal questions.
If a quote is at the bottom of the range, ask which of those are missing. Monitoring without help, or help without backups, is where the low numbers come from.
Hourly break-fix
Paying by the hour runs $125 to $350 an hour in the guides above, with most small business rates between $125 and $175. It fits an office that rarely has problems and has nobody to do the preventive work anyway. The hidden cost is that nothing happens until it breaks.
Contract length
Several industry sources describe 12 to 36 month contracts as the norm, often with an early termination fee, and some providers say month to month is priced 25 to 40 percent higher when offered at all. Ask how you leave before you ask what it costs.
Projects quoted separately
Setting up a new office, moving to Microsoft 365, installing cameras, and building a network are usually projects outside the monthly fee. Published 2026 ranges from trade and network guides. Small office network and Wi-Fi for 5 to 10 people, $4,500 to $7,500 all-in. Security cameras, $300 to $800 per camera installed including cabling. Access control, $1,000 to $4,000 per door installed. Onboarding to a managed plan is sometimes a separate fee as well.

Industry figures are from published guides read in October 2026 and change often. They describe typical quotes, not every provider. Our prices are on the pricing page and every project is quoted in writing before work starts.
Why our assessment prices are so much lower
A security assessment that costs thousands is a multi-day engagement that produces a long report. Our $350 office checkup is one hour on site and a written list of what we found and what each fix would cost, and it is credited once toward a fixed-price project or care plan onboarding signed within 30 days. Our cyber insurance readiness project, from $1,500, is scoped to the questions on your application, with the gaps fixed and the proof kept. They are smaller products on purpose, sized for small and growing offices. Larger setups are quoted after a review.
